Warming Our Community Together

Winter in Central Minnesota is no small thing, and for many families, staying warm can be a real challenge. Through Share the Warmth, St. Cloud Subaru has made a meaningful difference by helping provide over 1,000 winter coats to individuals and families across our community. These coats have reached children heading to school, parents working to make ends meet, and neighbors who simply needed a little extra support during the coldest months of the year. What makes this effort stand out is not just the number of coats—it is the care behind it. The team at St. Cloud Subaru shows up. They support the effort, help make it happen, and stand alongside our Foundation and first responders as coats are distributed directly to those who need them. We see the impact in real time. A child putting on a warm coat. A parent expressing relief. A moment of connection that turns into something more. Through Share the Warmth, St. Cloud Subaru is doing more than helping people stay warm—they are helping our community feel supported and cared for. We are grateful for this partnership and the difference it continues to make across Central Minnesota. Thank you St. Cloud Subaru

Heartbroken to Happy

My name is Kristina B.,I have been purchasing vehicles from Saint Cloud Subaru since March of 2024 I loved my Ascent. I don't usually write posts like this, but I feel genuinely compelled to share how incredible the team at Saint Cloud Subaru has been to me. Last fall my life was flipped upside down with a cancer diagnosis. Between working, nonstop appointments, recovery, and taking care of my family, I completely lost track of my car maintenance. I went way past due on oil changes without even realizing it, and when the car finally started making noise, I brought it in and learned the warranty was no longer valid. I was heartbroken. Even though the situation was my fault, Trevor Kratzke at Saint Cloud Subaru never hesitated. He spent weeks helping me work with the warranty company, however when the warranty company ultimately couldn't help Saint Cloud Subaru stepped up themselves. They even gave me a loaner so I could keep life moving while we tried to find a solution. Trevor offered to buy my car for what it was worth even before the shop quoted $12,000 in damages to the engine. Trevor then went on to help me get into a newer version of the Ascent I loved so much before at a fair, and honest price. The Finance Department even set me up with maintenance coverage so I'd never have to worry about something like this again. I'm so deeply grateful for their kindness, patience, and genuine care. They didn't just help me through a car problem. They showed up for me during one of the most overwhelming moments of my life, and I'll never forget how everyone treated me with empathy, respect, and a real appreciation to help others. I can't thank Saint Cloud Subaru enough.

Subaru helps make wishes come true for kids like Ellie!

Every year, Subaru dealerships help turn hope into a reality for Minnesota kids facing a critical illness. Subaru’s impact reaches kids like Ellie. When Ellie was born, a rare metabolic disorder caused her to stop breathing, leading to multiple brain injuries and lifelong seizures. Today, at nine years old, Ellie continues to fight daily battles with her health. Despite these challenges, she finds joy in the stars. When Ellie was referred to Make-A-Wish Minnesota, she knew exactly what she wished for: a trip to Yellowstone to see the stars in all their glory. During the day, Ellie explored geysers, wildlife, and natural wonders. At night, her family gathered around the campfire making s’mores and watching the sky light up with stars. “Seeing Ellie’s face light up each day was my favorite part,” her mom, Nichole shared. “The wish was a breath of fresh air for our entire family.” Because of Subaru’s continued support through Share the Love, wishes like Ellie’s are made possible. Together, Subaru and Make-A-Wish Minnesota are delivering hope, strength, and unforgettable joy to families when they need it most.

St. Cloud Subaru Cancer Initiative Partnership with Sartell High School

St. Cloud Subaru was a co-sponsor in our Tackle Cancer football game, and Dig Pink volleyball game this fall. They helped partner with the Sartell community, Sartell high school, and all of our students to raise money and awareness for cancer research. We raised over 2,000 dollars for the Randy Shaver Cancer Research fund, and Triunity Foundation. This night would not be possible without the support of St. Cloud Subaru. They helped us raise awareness, pink out the stands, and have a blast! Thank you for your support and for making a positive impact in our community.

Loving above and beyond!

I have been so honored to get to know one of your co-workers, Patrick Shaw. He has helped me out by answering so many of my questions after I have lease another car from you. He never makes me feel dumb because I don't know all the technology. I decided to introduce him to my 4 legged family member, Bridget, my English Springer Spaniel. Since all of my family have died, Bridget was my constant companion. Patrick always seemed so understanding so when I had to put Bridget down I texted him to let him know. The following week I received a call from him asking if it would be alright for him to stop by as he had a gift for me. It was the most beautiful gift I could have received. It was heart shaped with Bridget's picture on it and such thoughtful words. Along with that he had a prism that could hang in my window reflecting the light. St. Cloud Subaru should know how fortunate they are to have this wonderful, thoughtful man working for them. Yes, Patrick seems like a part of my family. Mary Davis

St. Cloud Subaru Blesses Patients of Coborn Cancer Center St. Cloud

Between the sunshine and the smiles, it was a bright day when St. Cloud Subaru drove over to Coborn Cancer Center St. Cloud in Subarus packed with gifts for the patients. This Subaru team has been partnering with Coborn Cancer Center for years as part of the national Subaru Loves to Care Initiative with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in support of LLS’s mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. One of the cancer center’s patients was handed a beautiful soft blanket by the delivery team and was very appreciative of the gift. Coborn staff, Juleena Richmond, shared, “Our cancer patients often express feeling overwhelmed, and we are always looking at how we can better support them, ways can we make life easier so they can focus on healing. ‘It takes a village’ is a phrase that persists in many instances throughout our lives and Cancer is no different. Having community support shows people they are truly not alone, that there are people inside and outside of these walls who care for them, and provides comfort in an all-too-often isolating experience. Thank you so much for showing our patients how much the community cares!” St. Cloud Subaru is a blessing to the greater St. Cloud community!

Thankful for our neighbors!

Dear St. Cloud Subaru Team, I hope this letter finds you all well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support you’ve shown our community at the Place of Hope over the past few months. Your generosity and kindness have made a remarkable difference in the lives of so many families, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge that. When we learned about the wonderful surprise you had in store for us at the beginning of the school year, our hearts were filled with joy. Your contributions have not only helped to uplift our community but have also created lasting memories for the children and their families. We were especially touched when your team arrived on that warm Friday afternoon to assemble a brand new playset for our kids. The sight of your team working so hard, under the sun, brought tears to my eyes. It was a beautiful display of community spirit that truly embodies what it means to be a good neighbor. The following day was another unforgettable experience. Your team, along with friends from The Public Safety Foundation, brought an ice cream truck and parked it right at the Place of Hope. The children were absolutely delighted to see the fire trucks and police cars, and they couldn’t stop talking about River, the K9 from the St. Cloud Police Department. It brought such joy to see the smiles on the kids’ faces as they enjoyed ice cream and played together. The playset has become a central part of our daily lives. The laughter and fun that ensue every day thanks to your generosity have transformed our summer into something truly special. It has created a safe space for children to play and bond, something we didn't have before. Thank you once again, St. Cloud Subaru, for your compassion and commitment to our community. Your kindness will always be remembered, and we are so grateful to have you as neighbors.

Luther St. Cloud Subaru Teams Up to Support Local Community

St. Cloud Subaru loves learning and shares the Love!

Place of Hope was started in the St. Cloud area in 1997. My husband Geary and I felt called to do something for the homeless in our community. It was a hot summer, and it started with the most basic human need- water. We served cold water from a convent in downtown St. Cloud. It was quickly obvious that so much more was needed, and so began our journey as the founders of what is now Place of Hope Ministries. In 2020 with the covid pandemic, the challenges of our work increased exponentially, as did the need of the community and people needing safe shelter. We were fortunate in finding an available hotel space located right next to St. Cloud Subaru. It was there that we started Compassionate Hope Family Center- a temporary and transitional housing center for up to 32 families and 30 single women. That new location has been one of the great blessings of the last 5 years as St. Cloud Subaru has stepped up to help us with meals, money, and neighborly compassion. The most recent example of the love they have shown our residents is why I am sharing this story. Two weeks ago it was back to school time for the families with school age children in our Center. We always strive to help our families find the basic supplies for starting a successful school year. In most cases those needs are met with some standard donations of supplies, shoes, maybe some clothing. Seldom do these children have the opportunity to experience the excitement of choosing what they want to wear or carry, in a color or style that they love. All that changed for our resident children on Friday, August 30th! Bobby Konnight- General Manager of St. Cloud Subaru, has been a friend, neighbor, and supporter of ours since we moved in next door. On August 30- having noticed the number of children around our Center, Bobby called and asked what our kids needed for school. He said “Our employees and I want to help ensure that your children start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.” On a busy Friday afternoon, St. Cloud Subaru’s amazing team met our families at the local Sierra store (a neighbor to both of our properties) and encouraged the families to choose for themselves what they needed to feel ready to learn. Given the freedom to select what their child needed, carts were filled with everything from clothing and shoes to backpacks, jackets, lunch boxes, and socks! All selected with great excitement by the children and their caregivers. What truly moved us was their commitment to making sure each family received exactly what they needed- no questions asked. Choosing for themselves what they like builds confidence in our children and makes them better prepared to learn when they get into school. For more than 4 hours St. Cloud Subaru employees waited for new families to arrive at the neighborhood Sierra store and then helped them shop and checkout with care, compassion and enthusiasm. Your Subaru employees were as excited for our children as the children were themselves to receive their bounty of back-to-school items. Their commitment to our community was undeniable, and the smiles and gratitude from the families they helped will never be forgotten. St. Cloud Subaru's generosity changed lives for these families as they begin the 2024 school year!! Thanks to St. Cloud Subaru, dozens of children in our care are now starting the school year with confidence and pride. They not only have the supplies they need but also the knowledge that their community values in them. THANK YOU! St. Cloud Subaru for your partnership, your love, and your commitment to making a difference. Your team exemplifies what it means to be a true community partner, and we cannot thank you enough for the love and care you show our families. With gratitude, Carol and Geary Smith Directors Place of Hope Ministries

Luther St Cloud Subaru Delivers Warmth and Support to Coborn Cancer Center

On Friday June 21st, the Luther St. Cloud Subaru staff loaded their beautiful Subaru cars and headed to Coborn Cancer Center to show support for cancer patients and their caregivers. In this ninth year of the Subaru Loves to Care partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society throughout the nation, the attendees’ message to blood cancer patients that they are not alone in their cancer journey was abundantly clear. The goal of Subaru’s Loves to Care program is to spread hope, love and warmth to cancer patients in local communities across the country through blanket donations, messages of hope cards, and patient care kits. RN and Hematology Care Coordinator at Coborn Cancer Center, Juliana Neumann told us how the gifts from Subaru are used. “The blankets and care kits donated by Subaru and LLS are a unique and comforting gesture we give our newly diagnosed patients at the Coborn Cancer Center. It can be a daunting and cold beginning of a journey when you are diagnosed with cancer. Providing the comfort of a soft pillow that transforms into a blanket often brings a smile to our patients’ faces. Cancer affects all ages. When a young adult, or a grandma or grandpa brings a child with them, the art kits are one of the most special things to give them.” Incoming Board of Trustees member for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Andrew Walko, was honored to be able to elevate his commitment to the mission of LLS by attending this blanket delivery. And cancer survivor Chris Magee reminded those in attendance, “My care at the Coborn Cancer Center was excellent and appreciated on my journey. The staff was second to none.” With attentive, caring medical professionals, the generosity and care of community partners like Subaru and the tireless efforts of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, blood cancer patients have a better chance of quality life after a diagnosis of a blood cancer.

Shoutout to Saint Cloud Subaru!!

Dear St. Cloud Subaru and Sales Staff, I am writing to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude for the incredible generosity and kindness shown through your Operation Warm event. As a member of the community, I was profoundly moved by the efforts of your dealership and staff to ensure that children in need are kept warm during the harsh winter months. Your commitment to organizing such an impactful initiative speaks volumes about your dedication to the well-being of our community. The Operation Warm event not only provides essential warmth to those who need it most but also fosters a sense of unity and compassion within our neighborhood. I would like to extend a special thank you to Ramona, one of your outstanding staff members, who went above and beyond to ensure that no child was left without a coat. Her selflessness and dedication are truly commendable. Knowing that Ramona spent her own money to make sure every child had adequate winter clothing exemplifies the exceptional character and generosity embodied by your team. The impact of your Operation Warm event extends far beyond providing physical warmth. You have instilled hope and comfort in the hearts of families facing adversity, demonstrating the power of community support and kindness. Your commitment to making a difference in the lives of others sets an inspiring example for all of us. On behalf of the entire community, I want to express our sincerest gratitude to St. Cloud Subaru and your remarkable sales staff for your unwavering dedication to helping those in need. Your generosity has undoubtedly made a significant difference in the lives of countless children, and for that, we are immensely grateful. Thank you once again for your kindness, compassion, and commitment to making our community a better place for everyone. Warmest regards, COP HOUSE

ST CLOUD SUBARU TACKLES CANCER

RECENTLY, THE SARTELL SABRE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEAM UP WITH ST CLOUD SUBARU FOR THE STATE-WIDE "TACKLE CANCER" PROGRAM. THIS EVENT INVOLVES HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAMS RAISING MONEY FOR THE "RANDY SHAVER CANCER AND RESEARCH PORGRAM". WE WERE OVERWHELMED WITH THE LOCAL SUPPORT RECEIVED FROM BOBBY KONNIGHT AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT ST CLOUD SUBARU. WE REACHED OUR GOAL OF $10,000, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY TO US, WAS THE INCREDIBLE OUTPOURING FROM SUBARU. THEY PURCHASED JERSEYS FOR ALL OF THEIR STAFF, SOLD ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE, COVERED MOST OF OUR COSTS IN ADVERTISING AND EVEN PURCHASED LARGE PRIZES TO BE GIVEN AWAY THE NIGHT OF OUR GAME! THEY HAVE ALREADY COMMITED TO DOING THE SAME PROGRAM AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND I'M SURE IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER. I KNOW THEY ADVERTISE THAT THEY ARE "MORE THAN A CAR DEALER", BUT THEY PROVED IT TO BE FACT! WITH MUCH APPRECIATION, BRUCE THOMPSON ATHLETIC DIRECTOR SARTELL HIGH SCHOOL

HELP BABY JACKSON

When Luther St Cloud Subaru was approached to ask for their assistance in Baby Jackson's benefit, they never hesitated and immediately agreed. Little Jackson is only 5 months old and has a rare condition called HLH. This causes his immune system to attack his organs and now requires a bone marrow transplant to survive. The family will spend over 3 months away from home during the upcoming treatments, transplant and eventual recovery. The General Manger and Operations Manager suggested two very attractive items for our silent auction which were the highest selling items of the evening! Not to mention one of the managers actually attended the benefit and helped out the entire evening! We were able to raise over $10,000 at the benefit and could not have been so successful without the help of St Cloud Subaru and their staff. With sincere thanks and appreciation, KJ Potter (Baby Jackson's Auntie) Clearwater, MN

Loyalty and Learning

I've been a loyal St Cloud Subaru customer for over 10 years. Of course, the quality of a Subaru vehicle is a big draw but even better than that, is the integrity and support of the sales consultants, finance specialists and managers of the dealership. General Manager, Bobby Konnight has always been there for me since I purchased my first Outback. Recently, he went above and beyond this year. I purchased a 2024 Outback and six weeks later, a deer collision resulted in a totaled vehicle. Bobby had a rental car delivered to me the very same day and secured an identical Outback for me to purchase! My sales consultant had my new vehicle ready to go when I arrived and the finance specialist had all the necessary paperwork ready for signatures. All of this made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. Besides our Subaru connection, Bobby and I have a much longer standing connection. Bobby was a student at Lowell Elementary School in Brainerd, MN while I was a teacher there. In order to honor Lowell teachers (past and present) and to support their task of educating our nation's children, Bobby recently donated $1,000 to Lowell Elementary School. The money will be used to help children receive items they need but their families are unable to purchase. School supplies, boots, winter coats, snow pants and gym shoes are just some of the items that will be purchased. Bobby certainly fulfills the Subaru Love Promise® of being a positive force in something bigger and being more than a car dealer! Thanks to everyone for making a difference in my life and a difference in the lives of teachers and students. Sincerely, Susan K Sebasky

St. Cloud Subaru LOVE PROMISE is sending SCTCC Collegiate DECA Members to International Conference

Four SCTCC students are on their way to the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando thanks to St. Cloud Subaru and Bobby Konnight, SCTCC alumni. At the state competition, Annalisa Gieser placed second in Fashion Merchandising; Kenneth Horn placed third in Professional Sales; Montanna Jenson placed second in Professional Sales; and Dannilee Olson placed first in Sales. “It was a huge relief with what Subaru is doing,” said Horn. “It’s financial freedom to be able to make this possible, otherwise I don’t think I’d be able to make this Orlando trip this year.” Konnight reached out to advisor Becky Shand about helping fund the trip to internationals – this is the second year he’s provided funding so the students can attend the conference. “The students are amazed that someone who sat in their classroom chairs is so willing to help them reach their goals. It warms my DECA heart!” said Shand. Konnight also provides coaching to Collegiate DECA students before they go to competitions to give them an opportunity to practice beforehand, which is something that several alumni and industry partners offer. This year Konnight incentivized the students to do well at the state level with the promise that he and Subaru would help fund the trip to internationals. “This is my second year competing in DECA. We went to Baltimore last year and…Bobby is the reason I was able to go. The fact that he was able to do it again this year was amazing,” said Gieser. The international competition is held April 22-25 where the DECA members will join more than 800 others to compete for top honors in 25 different competitions. Collegiate DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. “DECA affords students professional growth beyond the classroom and an opportunity to network with professionals and other students around the country,” said Shand. “Former graduates are so generous with their time and expertise. It is wonderful that I am not the only one who believes in these students.” The donation to fund the trip for the students is a part of Subaru’s Love Promise – Love Learning: “to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.” For many students, attending events like this is a financial struggle, and the donation from Konnight and Subaru makes it possible. Gieser said she’d be able to afford the trip, but the worry of draining her savings would shadow the event for her. Konnight’s generosity gives her the opportunity to focus on the competition and having fun. The generosity is also inspiring to students who see alumni and community members giving back when they are able to. “Bobby Konnight at Subaru was so kind. Without this sponsorship I would not have been able to go on this trip. The financial support is huge,” said Olson. “Thank you so much Bobby Konnight and St. Cloud Subaru for your contribution to the DECA program. We appreciate it so much and we can’t wait to make you proud.”

Random Act of Kindness-St Cloud Subaru

On Friday, February 17th, 2023 our organization was the recipient of an incredible act of kindness from our local Subaru retailer, St Cloud Subaru. We are The Lincoln Center aka: "Homeless Helping Homeless," a local independent homeless shelter. At Homeless Helping Homeless we aim to provide support, aid, and other resources to those in our area who are experiencing moments of great need. St Cloud Subaru's generosity not only empowered us to be able to continue providing services to those currently in need – it also allowed for us to re-imagine ways to offer assistance to those who are otherwise seemingly forgotten. Bobby Konnight and a large group of his staff delivered, without solicitation, 500 pairs of socks and upwards of $1000 of food and dry goods! We understand that this program is encouraged by Subaru, but Bobby and his staff went far beyond anything we could have imagined. We know that businesses today are all being asked to contribute to many different things and to be selected without asking, is something special. This particular dealer is already a strong supporter of our local and surrounding community, but this proves their merit and intentions. They are not just after the spotlight, they are truly good people and obviously being lead with integrity. On behalf of our entire volunteer staff, thank you, thank you! You have touched lives! Greater St Cloud Public Safety Basketball Court Light Project

Letter from Sonja Gidlow, Executive Director of Greater St Cloud Public Safety... Dear Bobby, I am writing to express our appreciation for your tremendous support of the COP House Basketball Court/Outdoor Lights project. Across the street from the COP House there is a basketball court in a park. In the summer, this basketball court gets heavy use with the COP House’s Southside Hoops program (led by COP House police officers) and other folks in the neighborhood. However, the court gets no use in the evenings because is not lighted. In fact, there are no lighted outdoor basketball courts in the entire city of St. Cloud. As a solution, officers at the COP House have been raising funds to install lighting at the basketball court. With that, they will be offering basketball programming to teens, which provides those youth with a fun and productive activity in evenings. Imagine – playing basketball on a summer evening, under the lights, with the neighborhood police officers! In addition to providing a place for teens to have fun (and stay out of trouble), basketball under the lights enables the officers to establish positive relationships with the older youth. The cost of installing the lighting is approximately $17,000. We have received an in-kind donation of $8,500 from a local electric business. Your donation of $8,500 provides the remaining funds needed so the lights can be installed this spring. On behalf of the Public Safety Foundation, the COP House team and the people we serve, thank you for your generosity. We appreciate it so very much.

Luther St. Cloud Subaru Supports The Local Community Outpost

I am writing to express our appreciation for the tremendous support of our local Community Outpost, The COP House. This house is a community safe haven in St. Cloud, MN that collaborates with the greater community to assess community needs and improve access to much needed health, wellness, and safety. It was incredible to see the Luther St. Cloud team work in combination with the Outpost staff and our volunteers to help kick off the school year for over 500 community members. The impact this has on the community cannot be overstated. When large amounts of school supplies were donated we quickly realized we needed backpacks to put them in. Bobby and the Luther St. Cloud team got wind of this and truly went above and beyond. 350 backpacks were donated by Bobby and team. This exceeded all expectations. After the large donation of backpacks for each child, Luther St. Cloud came back with a surprise of more than $2,000 worth of gift cards for back to school clothes. We appreciate that you and your amazing team took action. Along with all your donations you were on hand to meet the families and children. This speaks volumes of your commitment to the local community. I am not sure whose smiles were brighter – those of the Luther St. Cloud Subaru team or those of the children receiving the backpacks and gift cards to start their school year! After the event, Luther St. Cloud recognized the great need in our community and donated $3,000 to our affiliate, The Promise House! The Promise House is a local establishment that provides education, mentoring, and care to under served youth. On behalf of the Public Safety Foundation, the COP House team, The Promise House, and the people we serve. We thank you for your overwhelming generosity. We appreciate it so very much and it will make a direct impact on our community. -The Greater St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation

Luther St. Cloud Subaru Brings Comfort to the Patients of Coborn Cancer Center

On June 23, the staff of Luther St. Cloud Subaru made a special delivery to Coborn Cancer Center. Their gift of 80 beautiful blue fleece blankets was accompanied by arts and craft kits and words of comfort for blood cancer patients. In likely the most challenging time of their lives, our hope is that these patients feel the love that these generous Subaru staff members are bringing on behalf of their customers. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is proud to be able to bridge this beautiful relationship between Subaru and Coborn, which goes back to 2017 through the Subaru Loves to Care partnership. The staff of Coborn Cancer Center will bring smiles and comfort to the hematology patients at Coborn Cancer Center throughout the coming months when they give them these donated blankets and craft kits. Diamond: An Underdog Story

Diamond came to Northern Lakes Rescue (NLR) in May of 2021. When Diamond first came to the rescue, she could barely walk, and it was evident she was in so much pain. NLR brought her to one of our partner vets and found that she had hip dysplasia and needed a double hip replacement. Being such a young and healthy pup, this was crucial for Diamond to receive so that she could live a happy, full life and find her forever family. Due to NLR being a non-profit and rescuing many dogs, we did not have the funds to do the surgery right away. However, standing behind our mission of not giving up on a dog because of a medical issue, we raised the funds. Diamond successfully had a double hip surgery in July. Her foster family took great care of her and helped her through her rehab. It took months for her to be able to walk again. While all this was going on, Diamond was still trying to find her forever family. She attended many adoption events in the community where she got so much attention and people loving on her. Sadly, at the end of the adoption events, none of those families submitted an adoption application. Many people seemed to be hesitant of her having double hip surgery at such a young age, though the vet gave her a clean bill of health and prognosis of having a healthy happy life. In October, Diamond was highlighted as an Underdog during the Subaru Loves Pets initiative. Many posts were shared on social media throughout the month. This is when her family found her! They saw her picture and after meeting her knew she was THE one! She now has her forever family and has been given her second chance at life! Her new family loves keeping NLR updated on how she is doing and the adventures she's been on already. Like every other NLR foster, Diamond will always be a part of our family and will always receive love and support from NLR!

The hunt for Spicoli the Subaru

I looked for cars available all night, since the car industry was dealing with a shortage on cars. I knew I wanted the Subaru Forester sport in peak. No doubt in my mind. Dealership after dealership didn’t have the model I wanted. I’m a panic my Dad called two dealerships outside the cities, Rochester and St. Cloud, and found one the car! I put a hold down on what we thought was the Rochester dealership and started our 2 hr roadtrip. Only to get there to realize I had left the hold on the car I wanted in St. Cloud which was now a whole 3 hours north, since we just drove 2 hrs south. Brady from St. Cloud Subraru got all the paperwork ready, cleaned the car, and pulled it into the garage for safekeeping. It was worth all the hours of driving and made even better with the amazing service. I name my cars, so that day I had to say goodbye to Kenny the Kia and a big Hello to Spicoli the Subaru.
